Grab your rods and hit the water for a fun-filled morning of fishing. This event is for children 12 and under. Fish solo or team up with friends—this event is a fantastic way to make new lake buddies!

Local historian and colourful character Russ Wunker takes us on a journey back in time to explore Miners’ Bay. Through favourite stories—including the mystery of the Lost Indian Silver Mine—Russ revives a century-old legend now nearly forgotten, with local geology offering intriguing clues. He also shares how Miners’ Bay helped shape early tourism in Haliburton County, brought to life through vintage postcards, photographs, and memories.
