Attractions and Associations On And Around The Lake…

Kilcoo_logoSince 1932, when Kilcoo was founded by Charles F. Plewman, thousands of boys and young men from Canada and around the world have shared a certain magic on the shores of Gull Lake in the Highlands of Haliburton. Kilcoo helps to build self confidence, social responsibility and appreciation of others, but the magic really takes place when the sum of all the experiences and friendships come together to create a most special time and feeling in our campers’ lives.

frontlargeMiners’ Bay Lodge, family-owned and operated since 1938, is a family-oriented summer resort in the beautiful Highlands of Haliburton. Located approximately 2 hours north-east of Toronto on highway 35, our 70-acre property sits on the shores of Gull and Round Lakes. Their summer season runs from mid-June to Labour Day.

The Gull Lake Plan is a public document that reflects the collective wishes of Gull Lake property owners for the preservation and maintenance of Gull Lake’s natural environment. A Steering Committee consisting of like-minded individuals is currently developing this plan and has held several workshops with the general public. The Lake Plan is shared with local governments and serves as a tool to help municipalities develop future plans and direction. This is a living document that is constantly updated to reflect the current wishes and concerns of the lake community.
